DESIGN
Although we are proud to offer and in-house designer and draftsman, we are
happy to work with any designer that the homeowner chooses. We are available
throughout the entire plan development to offer suggestions, ideas, and
comments to make the home building and finishing process as smooth as
possible.
COST ESTIMATING
After we receive your drawings or prints we will prepare a cost
estimate for the log portion of your project. There is no charge for this
estimate. It will include transportation costs, reassembly costs, and a
breakdown of some log options you may want to consider such as full log
gable ends and log staircases. Our many years of experience enables us to
provide a very accurate estimate for you log shell even from a simple set of
sketches.
TIME LINE
Once Legacy has received plans, we generally require 8 - 12 weeks to
complete a log shell in our Montana assembly yard. This time varies
according to the building size and our current work load. During the
building process, photos will either be sent or emailed as work progresses.
After the project is complete, it will be shipped to its final destination
and reset by the same crew that originally crafted it.
